Vaca Frita

The Vaca Frita and plantains at Baracoa are amazing! When we first moved to CA from FL I asked our realtor for the best restaurant to take my wife to when she came to town and she suggested Baracoa. It has definitely been our favorite restaurant in the AV since we moved here 7 years ago!

Ensalada De Camarón

My salad was fresh and the dressing delicious. I also enjoyed the chicken and beef empanadas. They were larger than I expected, golden brown and crispy. My Cuban sandwich was filled with meat. The flan was so creamy, and the whip cream was so lite and fluffy. The wine list has a variety of options I had a glass of Malbec which complimented my delicious meal.

Vaca Frita

This was absolutely delicious. My husband and I split this with some rice and beans. YUM !!!
